Big T's Bar-B-Q

Ordered the chop beef on bun w/ fries to go. Sandwich was incredible. Meat was so tender and flavorful with occasional crunchy bits (these always have all the flavor, obviously). Sauce was thick and kept the majority of the meat securely in place, but they added so much that it was spilling underneath the fries, and that's just fine by me. The fries are made in-house, but were greasier than I would prefer, and nothing to write home about. I imagine the other sides are much better, so I'll just have to check next time I'm in the area. Environment inside was friendly, with a view of the smoke pit as soon as you enter. Got to see full slabs of ribs being tossed in and wondered if I should have gotten rib tips instead. Lots of history in the hanging picture frames that appear on each wall. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

The best bbq I’ve ever had! I’m from Atlanta and honestly the south has nothing in this delicious food! Worth every penny! The portions are enormous! We had the Southern Sandwich & you’ve got to try the cheesy corn and baked potato casserole!

Super friendly staff and cool vintage sports atmosphere. I was disappointed they didn't have extra BBQ sauce on hand (for my fries), but the flavor of thier meat more than made up for that. I imagine sauce is costly in this economy. Definitely give Big T's a try.

Pricing at big ts is a big selling point. They have very low prices and big portions. It's not my favorite bbq, but it's decent stuff. I didn't prefer their sauce that was on everything. I use to go to another location. I preferred the ambiance of the other one. This one has a much darker more confining interior. Parking is available in a medium sized lot. We tried the ham, beef and ribs. I did like these ribs since they were very fatty (I like my fatty fat ribs) Their fries are also very affordable and very good.

I stopped here in the middle of the afternoon for lunch, and something to take to my hotel for dinner. The food is fantastic! I got burnt ends, because I can’t seem to find real ones at home, and they were so good! Portions are good sized too. I ended up taking half of them in a to go box. I ordered the double stack sandwich with brisket and turkey for my dinner that night. Even heated up in the microwave the meat was moist and tender and flavorful. I ended up getting four meals out of my entire order. The people working were absolutely friendly and welcoming and so helpful in helping me decide what to order. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. My only complaint is that I don’t get to Kansas City on a regular basis so I can go back!
